How to download Kali Linux
Download Kali Linux From here. You have options for the Gnome, KDE, Mate, Xfce, LXDE, armhf, armel and virtual images for VMware and VirtualBox. You can also download Weekly Update ISO files from here.
Kali Linux System Requirements
- A minimum disk space of 20 GB.
- minimum RAM for i386 and amd64 architectures, : 1GB, Recommended: 2GB or more.
- CD-DVD Drive / USB boot support
What you need to install kali Linux
Before Install Kali Linux you need Iso Image for burn In CD /DVD or Make Bootable USB. In my case, I’m using Bootable USB Its upon you.
How to install Kali Linux
To start your installation, Boot from your chosen installation medium (DVD or USB). Choose your preferred method of installation. We will select the Gui Install.
Choose your preferred language
Select your geographic location
Configure the keyboard Its Upon you.
Configure your network and then prompt you to enter a hostname for your system.
choose to specify a default domain name now.
Create the root user password for the system
Set your time zone
The installer will now probe your disks. In my case, I am using the “Manual” partitioning method.
Select the disk to be partitioned.
Select yes and hit the enter
Create a partition and Now you’ll have one last chance to review your disk configuration before the installer. After you click Continue, the installer will go to work, and you’ll have almost finished installation.
Configure network mirrors. Kali uses a central repository to distribute applications. You’ll need to enter any appropriate proxy information as required.
